Austrian Studies
The journal Austrian Studies is published by the Institute of Historical Sciences and European Ethnology and the Doktroatskolleg/Zentrum Austrian Studies of the University of Innsbruck.
The journal sees itself as an interdisciplinary platform for contributions that approach the cultural space of 'Austria' in different periods of time and in different contexts - from the Holy Roman Empire to the Habsburg Monarchy to the Second Republic.
Austrian Studies primarily publishes essays and book reviews. Thematic issues and issues without a narrow thematic focus alternate. If you are interested in publishing in the journal, please contact us!
