About the Journal

The journal Austrian Studies – Innsbrucker Beiträge is published by the Doktroatskolleg/Zentrum Austrian Studies of the University of Innsbruck.

The journal sees itself as an interdisciplinary platform for contributions that approach the cultural space of 'Austria' in different periods of time and in different contexts - from the Holy Roman Empire to the Habsburg Monarchy to the Second Republic.

Austrian Studies – Innsbrucker Beiträge is published in printed form and as an online journal. Essays can be submitted in German or English.  Each article published in the journal is peer-reviewed by two reviewers.

Access to the journal is provided by the Open Journal Systems (OJS) system, which allows authors, reviewers and readers to easily use the journal. To register please write to redaktion@austrian-studies.at
